EmilyI’ve used it (Snowberry’s Nourishing Rich Day Cream) for about a month. And in a world of fancy, pseudo-scientific descriptors, the straightforwardly named Nourishing Rich Day Cream is exactly and precisely what it says. For those of us in our 50s, this is a wonderful, effective, and very pleasant cream on its own or under makeup. I especially liked the notion that rather than just moisturizing, this cream would have some protective and anti-aging (restorative) qualities. So far, I am delighted with it – it’s been great to use even through bouts of summer weather, and though I can’t yet truly evaluate the real anti aging effects, it’s an excellent, easily absorbed moisturizer and smoother. And while it is, indeed, a very rich cream, it is not at all greasy, and works just fine under makeup (critical for a day cream). Rich Day Cream is a very pleasant, thick-ish but not heavy, vanilla-colored cream in an easy-to-use pump; it has a faint vegetal scent, but nothing perfume-y. Clearly it’s Snowberry’s “heavy hitter” day cream, priced to match, and it is a bit more expensive than some other day creams I’ve used – though comparable to others I liked less well! So while I might use it less often in the summer weather, I suspect I’ll reach for it constantly in the fall and winter. I’d still strongly recommend Rich Day Cream for those over 50. I also think it’s worth a close look by anyone who has excessively dry skin or is contending with a very dry climate.
Emily - truthinaging.com | read full reviewThis is a wonderfully moisturizing day cream which works extremely well under my makeup. (I don't have to use a primer.) It's especially nice for me to be able to use a rich moisturizer during the day which is not greasy or heavy or occlusive. Keeps my face evenly moisturized throughout the day, and keeps my T Zone from becoming oily. Love that it is great to wear even on the really hot and humid days in Florida.
